Agreement and purpose

These terms govern your use of TRIALBORN, operated by TRIALBORN. Updated September 11, 2026. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the applicable store terms. The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

The app offers creative reflection and journaling. The Crown, Shield, and Hammer describe possible learned strategies, not fixed identities or a scientifically validated psychological assessment. Results are not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or emergency support. Skip any reflection that does not feel useful. Contact local emergency services if you need urgent help.

Free features and Pro

The quiz and basic archetype results are free. Pro unlocks the guidance and journaling features described in the app. Monthly, annual, and one-time Lifetime options may be available. The price, currency, billing period, and any applicable trial are shown before purchase. Your store's confirmation shows the terms that apply to your transaction.

The intended US monthly price is $9.99 with a seven-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Trial eligibility is determined by your store and offer configuration. A trial is not promised for annual or Lifetime purchases. Unless canceled in time, an eligible trial becomes a paid subscription.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel through Apple or Google Play subscription settings before the deadline shown by the store; for Apple trials, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Access after cancellation follows the period confirmed by your store. Deleting the app or local data does not cancel billing.

Lifetime is a non-consumable, one-time purchase of Pro access for the lifetime of the TRIALBORN service, without a recurring subscription fee. It does not promise perpetual operation or support for every future device, and it does not automatically cancel a separate recurring subscription. We will not convert that purchased access into a recurring fee. Any discontinuation is subject to applicable consumer protections and remedies.

Restore eligible purchases using the same store account. Restoration does not recover journal entries. Refunds follow applicable law and the store's process. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or guarantees.

Your writing and responsibility

Your writing remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your journal. The app stores it locally, with no journal cloud sync or recovery service. Export important entries before uninstalling, clearing storage, or changing devices. Exported files are readable and should be stored securely. Existing saved entries remain readable, editable, and exportable when Pro ends.

You decide what to share. Respect other people's privacy and intellectual property. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its security, or attempt to defraud the purchasing system. Personal use of the app does not transfer ownership of its original artwork, interface, or written content. Fictional character references are editorial comparisons and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Availability and liability

We aim to provide a useful, reliable app, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or a particular personal-growth outcome. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available. We do not exclude liability or statutory guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to faulty digital content.

We may update the app to improve it or fix errors. Material changes to paid services, pricing, or terms will follow applicable law and store requirements. Updated terms will carry a revised date, with additional notice or agreement where required. Local mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

Store license and contact

On iOS, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the app license unless a valid replacement is provided through Apple. These service terms supplement that license. Purchases also remain subject to the relevant store's terms. Contact us through Support with questions or disputes.
